After months of what has felt like endless bad headlines out of the entertainment industry, we have something positive on the horizon: awards season.
The Recording Academy announced nominees for the 60th annual Grammy Awards Tuesday morning. Jay-Z leads the pack with eight nominations this year, including album of the year, record of the year, song of the year, and best rap album. Kendrick Lamar follows with seven nods, while Bruno Mars is third with six. According to Billboard, SZA is 2018’s most Grammy-nominated woman with five nods.
Lots of honorees took to Twitter to celebrate the occasion, and just like Meghan Markle content, it’s surprisingly pleasant to scroll through their excitement:
Oh man, this is crazy. Que bendiciΓ³n. Thank you https://t.co/kdXL4OOqUG
