According to an Us Weekly source, the royal proposed to his girlfriend with a ring using the diamonds from one of Princess Diana‘s brooches!

So sweet!

Obviously this news is meant to be on the down low before they make a public announcement, but it’s said the couple have already picked a date:

“It will definitely be a summer wedding.”

Fans can expect to see the official news go public in the new year, with the source saying it “will likely be some time in January. It gives Meghan some to get settled and will be a great start to 2018.”

A pal of Meghan’s added:

“With Suits over, so so is her life in Toronto, but she’s really excited about starting a new chapter with Harry.”

One of the insiders added Prince William and Kate Middleton will be nearby should she have any questions:

“You can’t trust anyone more than family, so it’s no surprise Harry wants them to help make this transition easy for Meghan.”

Wow. This is a huge deal!

And according to a People insider, her move-in already being anticipated:

“It’s not a question of if she’s moving in, it’s just a matter of when.”

The 36-year-old currently lives in Toronto with her two dogs, so she probably has a few logistics to tend to before moving thousands of miles away.

But it definitely seems like they’re ready for the next step as the engagement rumors have been swirling for a while! The source continued:

“Harry has made no secret of the fact that he wants to marry her. She is the one.”

Meghan has even reportedly met with his grandma Queen Elizabeth II for tea at Buckingham Palace last month, so there’s that!

We’re ready for another royal wedding, but we’ll take a royal moving day, too!
